Misled

Playing with 88 words containing “LED”, while explaining the misleadings of US culture from my experiences here ;)

Misled belongs to the following groups:

All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical, Core [C.O.R.E], Masterpieces: Literary Workshop and WMG

I have not travelled the world or sailed the seven seas
Though I’ve spiraled through entangled or troubled displease
Only to be labeled being ailed or disabled with embattled dis-ease
Revealed soon, I was humbled to pledge being detailed with a deviled ease

This appealed to the auricled organ which chronicled distilled choice
What has bankrolled and channeled someone’s credentialed voice
No longer controlled by a fabled, hobbled, scheduled or idled noise
I inhaled strength and exhaled the fear in star spangled rejoice

I have assembled the mind’s chiseled thoughts to unveiled actions
Being stifled, I gambled and marveled while I smelled satisfaction
Then struggled, stumbled and trampled upon an encircled chain reaction
Soon counseled, co-counseled until compelled beyond distraction

A fledgling pedestaled on the ledge of an equaled rebelled life
I’ve quarreled, as I’m libeled for this principled so-called strife
Dulled as being led or finagled out of being pummeled with a knife
They are foiled in their stockpiled attempts expelled as a fit wife

I’m entitled now as I have fled belittled and enabled times of youth
To step past the jailed, soiled and tangled knowledge of truth
I have profiled, meddled and manhandled evidence like a sleuth
Having somewhat tattled and revealed more than a smuggled wisdom tooth

The mourning turtledove is settled beside a sandaled foot in sand
Repelled and enthralled at the once unspoiled, being imperiled land
While we worry of the dimpled, dialed and recalled to be retailed in our hand
Still puzzled as we’re panhandled by a well-oiled and fueled, youth bled stand.

Well…. not only you did have to ryhme the words, but find the joy of playing with them.
It is being difficult for me to grasp the contain… but is is delightful to recite it and try to follow the pattern, the drawing of the names turned into verbs, or verb turned into subjects…
I cannot tell why but when I started to read it, it came to me the young Bob Dylan. Not telling you as an appraisal but as a fact of my inner resonance.
    Rosa (have a hug Tammy…)

  • tkrosevear replied

I will take the Dylan reference as a wonderful compliment Rosa, his songwriting has always affected me deeply ;) xoxox
