The nymph and her tree are ONE and the same, so she may have pale skin like peeled bark, or smooth flesh the color of wood. Her silky hair is soft, and either leaf green or polished nut brown. Dryads are as tall and slender as young saplings, and just as lithe and supple.
Photograph of tree in my own yard (close-up) and scan of a sketch I did this afternoon, merged to remind me to connect to and be grateful for all that is…
I pulled my easel out last weekend and I have been “mused” into CREATE mode working with pastel chalks, our first snow is happening, so I may be uploading the many finished projects of a very interesting part of my grieving journey, especially since the Full Mourning Moon has been quite potent!
Love to all ♥
