Munchkin Moose

Moose calves are born with their eyes open, if they live through their first month, it’s most likely they will survive to become an adult. Moose are herbivores and they are the largest antlered animals of all ~ with the males only growing them (rarely a female with hormone imbalances will grow them as well). The moose has no enemies except the grizzly bear and humans.
Moose medicine invites you to explore new depths of awareness and sensitivity within yourself and within your environment.

    Thanks Karon ~ “Moose medicine” is the native american lessons associated with totem animals at different life stages, we believe we are born with some animal traits that stay with us throughout our lives (like my spirit name WindOwl ~ Owl has been my lifetime totem), and when transitions or lessons are needed, an animal will show up in our lives to help and guide us through. Moose medicine is described better in the “Matriarchal Moose” piece that was put up just before this one ;) xoxox TK

    These are amazing and absolutely gorgeous…! thank you for sharing.
    I live on a dairy farm, and to see these two babies, they don’t seem that unlike the baby calves we have born here every season….... only I am sure these little ones will grow to be VERY big adults!

    Thanks Wendy, yes they can be as tall as 7 feet (at the shoulders), weighing from 850-1580 pounds, with their antlers reaching lengths of 6 feet across ~ BIG ;) xoxox
