A gift of canine companionship for eight wonderful years
today marks a sadness and crying many cleansing tears

Her time with us cherished across two states
Moved beyond life’s status, we celebrate

Helping her beyond her body’s infirmed cage
As empathy steals the heart, to fully engage

We’ll miss her playful nature and undying love
and trust her spirit to be guided from above

Until our paths cross again in life’s eternal light

A gift given for my husband, Lynn’s, 60th birthday, marks 8 years today that she has made us smile. Diagnosed as a puppy that she would be crippled by 2 years of age, she beat the odds and survived and thrived beyond her dysplasia and over-breeding. Today, we said goodbye to our dear friend and companion and grieve her loss…

    I grieve with you, loosing a canine companion is the hardest thing. I will remember her in my prayers to the cosmic forces, and take a prayer stick to the stream’s edge for her in the morning!

    Oh Tammy, I am so sorry for your loss, as I know how hard it is to lose any animal…My heart goes out to you Sis. We lost a Cocker Spaniel last summer and I understand the hurt so well…This is gorgeous memorial and one that you and Lynn will cherish for many years to come.     i missed this….i have not been on much….so sorry for your pain, sis….i know it…i feel it….i relate….even though we know the big picture of it all, there is an empty space when they go…..much love and healing energy to you and lynn….now beauty plays with our reba in the sun and tall grasses….no pain in the hips, no limitations…..i love you….
