The Phoenix is the most famous of all rebirth symbols, a legendary bird that endlessly renews itself in fire.
Initially a symbol of the cyclic disappearance and reappearance of the Sun, the Phoenix soon became an emblem of human resurrection – and eventually of the indomitable human spirit in overcoming trials.

My deepest hopes, since the onsets of Black Saturday and the devastation and sorrow felt across the lands of Australia, as well as here on redbubble with the outpourings of love, compassion and strength in thoughts and prayers is that it reaches and touches all who have lost someone, something or some part of their heart to this great fire – find the inner strength and wisdom, and most certainly feel the generosity and outpouring from so many human beings around the globe.
The empathy and compassion felt around the world is ironically, a gathering of souls in Unity – it saddens me that it takes a tragedy of this proportion to focus, it also fills me with joy that it is still possible…

May we continue in the light of love and unify for the benefit of all humankind – as Love can move mountains
