Bliss
This is a poem that I wrote to my husband of 24 years, the photograph is us on our wedding day, at home with the theme of Lace, Wildflowers, denim and cowboy boots…was only in the dress, long enough for photos ;)
You’re the kind of man I never thought I’d get to meet
A man whose smile and words can sweep a girl right off her feet
Strong enough to lean on, warm enough to care
True enough to count on when I need you to be there
Brave enough to share your dreams and say what’s on your mind
Boy enough to marvel at small wonders that you find
Sweet enough to make me feel like I’m someone you admire
A friend you love to laugh with, the woman you desire…
You’re everything (and then some) that I’d ever hoped you’d be
Dream enough and Real enough and Man enough for me…

Those words are amazing! Isn’t it great to have met the person of your dreams; and greater still to go through life with that person! I know we’re of a dying breed, but to me to be blessed with that one person is the greatest blessing of all !!!! (And one hell of a responsibility!)
