As Autumn winds blow and daylight fades
the Brownies are busy with trees to persuade

It’s time to release leaves and get ready to sleep
while the temperature drops and the chill soon creeps

Old man Winter will soon arrive with blankets of white
tucking in nature’s glory and lighting the stars bright

While the sun’s glow by day warms seeds deep in the earth
The moon smiles wide while humans cuddle by the hearth

Saying ado to the Fall and welcoming the winters’ snow
gives us comfort and joy of the seasons we’ve come to know.
