Gemini Moon
As is shot of Full Moon, 12/12/08…this Big Winter Moon (Long Nights Moon) is said to invoke muses – the nine daughters of Zues and Mnemosyne whom were each attributed to a different art: epic and heroic poetry, music, lyric and erotic poetry, history, tragedy, sacred poetry and geometry, dance, comedy, and astronomy and astrology.
My muse was certainly invoked with the confirmation of a visit from a Great Gray Owl, who stirred up the dogs and the chickens last night ;)

this moon has been so intriguing to me….one morning at 2 i was out in the backyard with my 4-legged child….lying on my back trying to get a good shot of the moon which had a gigantic ring around it….this is a beautiful shot, tk….thank you for this….
