Artist just starting out, trying to get my artwork noticed. I showed my wall-hangings at the local markets last year with lots of really positive feedback which encouraged me.
I have a motto which is: ‘Turning nature’s trash into artistic treasures’. Over the last 2 years I have been developing my chosen artform. I use a whole variety of materials (gum nuts, sticks, bark, shells, shellgrit, sun-bleached seaweed, coconut husks, corn, lentils etc(nature’s trash) which I collect from beaches, parks, gardens and forests. I don’t pull anything off trees, everything is collected from the ground. These are applied to a stretched canvas in specific designs, sealed and varnished.
