I am an avid birdwatcher and wildlife/nature photographer. I’ve been birding for over 20 years. Over time, my experiences in nature have moved me to want to capture it so that I can both study it and share it.I’ve been a photographer since 2003. I’ve won a handful of awards, written an article or two on birds and/or birding and do photography presentations around the state of Florida for various birding and photography clubs.I use all Nikon equipment. Some pieces have come and gone. I now have 2 Nikon D300 bodies, Nikon 300mm f/4 and the new Nikon 28-300VR. My primary rig for shooting birds is my 300mm f/4 with a Nikon 1.4 teleconverter.I am also a member of the Nikon birding Prostaff Team and promote their sport optics equipment wherever I go. In addition I promote their digiscoping systems. Currently all rage is centered on their new EDG Fieldscope line consisting of an 85mm and a 65mm Fieldscope and the DSLR adapter the FSA-L2 which has a 500mm to 1750mm zoom!!
