Looking back, I often wonder, what could have gone so horribly wrong with those humans…
I remember times when quite a few were very affectionate and friendly towards us.
Children and grownups always ready with a treat.

How could they side with those humans who were so cruel towards us?
Why did they not protect us?

Truly beautiful picture and it made me so sad that it worked out that way. Have you seen the geese lately in their new place?

  • The last time I went to see them was when I went to take the photographs for the work done with the piglets in it.
They both looked to me if “depressed” and it killed me to see them just lying around.
They would not even take the food I took for them.I asked again for the other two on the farm to be fetched but I could see it would not happen. The two back on the farm I have not seen at all.
I phoned once and they said they are doing fine? I will never know..
We were at the dam this weekend and I still cry every-time I go there.I find it almost impossible to accept that the members can get away with it. They use the club rules and no pets policy against me.

That why I chose to use this image above as part of the story. I was not the only one feeding.
I have to find a way now to get the book published hopefully. It cannot undo what has been done but maybe someone out there will see the need to help protect these birds as well.

These are going to be a wonderful book, fabulous work !

  • If I can find a way to get this book published I will be very happy.
It can never undo what has been done but maybe more awareness for the need to protect all animals and these birds will be made.
Thank you for your support and believe in my work.

What a sweet rework. Gorgeous processing. You have really breathed life into these.

  • Thank you . The goose in this image was so cute and the man at first would not believe me when I said he will take the bread gently from his hand…;0)
