For those of you who have never been here,or had the chance to see an aerial view of the area.I had the pleasure of a helicopter flight over the region, and managed to take a few shots.
You can see Cradle Mountain at the far end of Dove Lake. The smaller lake in the centre is Lake Lilla, and the big lake(can’t quite see it) is Crater Lake. On the left of Dove Lake, is Hansons Peak, and on the right side of Dove Lake, is Marions Lookout. Marions is by far the most popular place for people to walk to to view the Mountain. This area is known as the Day Walk Area and walks vary from a quick walk down to the edge of Dove Lake from the carpark, to all day walks to the summit and back.
This area is a photographers paradise and should not be bypassed by anyone coming to Tasmania!!!!
