Hi to all attending the week and there is still room for anyone wanting to join in on the fun.
Fagus Week starts on Sunday evening at 8.00pm on the 20th of April and concludes with dinner at the Cradle Mountain Lodge private guest lounge on Saturday evening the 26th of April.
It is with great pleasure that I can confirm that Rob Mullner and Mieke Boynton are returning as our Guest Photographers for the week and will be conducting informal workshops from 8pm each night excepting Sunday the 20th and Saturday the 26th.
Sunday night from 8.00pm will be an introduction night to the week ahead so people can familiarise themselves with what to expect if they haven’t been here before.
Rob Mullner is not able to attend till Tuesday, but I’m sure he will take charge of the people who would like to venture out to the more remote areas of the park.
I will be leading the lesser adventurous photographers and partners on some different walks from previous years and Claire, hopefully with Mel Brackstone , will be available to look after the physically challenged people attending. Mel has been OUTSTANDING in her contribution to the week over the last couple of years. Please consider yourself very lucky if you are able to spend time with her!!!!
Rob and Mieke have some excellent subjects for their workshop presentations and we will be conducting a general discussion workshop on the Friday evening.
Competition Day is on Saturday the 26th of April, with the Cow and Calf Cup up for grabs. Rob Mullner and Rosie Appleton have been deserved winners over the past couple of years. Thanks to David Murphy for sponsoring such a wonderful trophy!!
Dinner in the Private Guest Lounge at the Cradle Mountain Lodge on the Saturday night is a great way to finish off the week and David Murphy will present the Cow and Calf Cup Trophy to the winner of Competition Day.
Claire and I are looking forward to seeing our ‘Extended Family’ return for another year of photography fun and to Welcome new Friends to the experience of Fagus Week:o)
