Oho, now I see the big picture – the bottom right actually seems a character with legs

  • Hahaah, thanks Syd… yeah, I guess it could be.

send me the map so i can reach such a place :)
never stop sending us dreams Tine……
    never
    ever

  • hahaha! if only i had the map, sigh! i suspect you take a left turn at desire, go straight down and when you reach hope take a sharp right and it should be there in front of you, just through the alley of happyness trees and there it is!
but i’m afraid it is just a dream.
    i’ll see what i can do, can’t promise….
let’s go down to the square lake Magali and dangle our feet in the water and send off some blossoms across the water…

the colours are so luscious in this….I love that shape ….I like painting long elongated paintings too
your trees have real personality in them too
would love to see more of these

  • Thank you so much Adam, you’re a star!!! This means so much to me! wow, the trees have personality? I did the best I could hoping along the way not to mess it up. i would love nothing more than to make more of these, I have several more noted in my sketchbook…. Maybe one day….one fine day.

  • i had painted another one in that painting class but it turned out awful because i was blocked and forcing it. maybe i’ll try one again since you’re loving it so much….face the pain right? head down, close my eyes and through…like Steven Pressfield said, slay that villain…

  • Yes, sure is and would be living in that cottage all in peace and quiet with fresh air to fill one’s lungs…yes, happiness.

Gorgeous! Such amazing talent! I love your choice of colour and it’s truly unique and very distinctive, love this! ;)

  • Thank you so much Ming, that is so lovely to read!! it turned out differently in the end from when I started out because Iife interrupted, so it lay for four months half started. When i continued i couldnt remember anymore what colours i had intended to give the trees and so i simply continued somehow. So nice that you like it! ;)
