Rose

With this rose, I wish to climb
To the top and beyond all time
And reach it so I may see the light,
And not hurt those who hold me tight

For I wish no hurt, nor bring pain
Or drown in deepest sorrow or rain
But become the beauty to your eye,
And winters not darken my sky.

So help this rose in her plight
Reach the top and see the light
Please help her grow, give her the strength
To lead the way, through to the end.
