Cubes Rising
Cubes Rising is a fun painting, an exercise in shapes. And for those who care to notice, there is a repetition of threes. Three cubes, three colors (red, yellow, brown) used throughout the entire piece, three sides of the cubes visible and three sides not visible and the arrangement of the cubes forms a triangle. In various forms of numerology, 3 denotes completion or wholeness. There is no hidden message here, merely that I was deliberately repeating threes. Cubes Rising is the first in a three piece series entitled Cube’s Cycle. 24×24” digital painting.
