Strong colors and beautiful composition. This sorta reminds me of a painting by Matisse: it is the painting of , a man and a woman in red and green or a husband and wife,,, not sure of the name… And this painting is lovely, the shoulders, the gown are pretty. The distant form of the man, I think you have achieved a psychological distance with the bold blue against the red.

  • the said idea….thank you beth

Outstanding Tim! I think maybe that your immersion into Art over the past few months is now beginning to pay dividends – I’ve noticed a natural tendency with the work you have made to use these strong flat colour contrasts and simplified, almost diagrammatic forms (just like Matisse:)
Just go with the flow Tim – you are a tornado of ideas, and now you are beginning to snatch a handful of that storm and get it onto paper………….time to start painting!!
I’m sitting here with a smile and a warm heart, full of admiration for the way you are dealing with everything and turning it into some wonderful artwork – don’t put it down to coincidence – you have got what it takes my friend…………get painting!!
