Artist's Description

This 19th Century weather-boarded building once stored cargoes brought up the River Blackwater in barges and smacks. It was built on pillars to stop the spring tides from flooding the lower floor. Now a days it is flooded most days and is in danger of collapse .Tollesbury,Maldon,Essex,England.
