This looks like it was planned to just be a snapshot, but turned out into a great art piece. :) It’s one of those things that I’m sure you were pretty shocked and psyched about when you put it on your computer. Love when that happens. Or, then, maybe you planned it, in which case you’re a genius.

Thanks Leila, to be honest it was a bit of both. There are a couple in this series, but he nailed the expression in this one.

Saw this in Buyer`s Corner… it is indeed unique in many ways, but I think what really makes it is the composition combined with his gaze. And the lighting. And the way his hair`s blowing. And the even tonal balance. Jeeze, not the kind of picture I would expect someone to hang on their wall… but what an amazing portrait!
