When you came home.

When you came home
I kissed your rainy face
And felt I touched a lace
More delicate
Than an orchid bloom
For your sweet perfume
Never left the room
Where I had said goodbye.
May be it was something
I never meant to say
So I wrote everyday
And in my mind
I logged my longing
For your warm touch
Your gentle
Understanding touch
That meant so much
I could no longer flee
The messages that pour
From Poems
I wrote to thee
My love of loves
My flower of flowers
My alpha to infinity.

So let us steal away
Leave it all
Hear music dripping
From waterfall
Outside our window
Raindrops shed
Their petals
On a mossy ledge
Your lips will kiss
My finger tips
You’ll pledge
That their
ointment
will cure.
(and I am sure It will)
With a meaning pure
As a drop drunk
From your hearts
Warm spirits.
I will comb your hair
And let it float
Like golden chaff
Through my hand
And the sea will weave
It’s silver wand
And pour
It’s silver curtain
On the sand
We will whisper wishes
Into a coney shell
I wish for love
And for you as well
And with your eyes
Tight shut as mollusks
You wish that wishes
would come true
I hope you wished for me
As I had wished for You.

When you came home.
