Coming Home

When I entered,
I heard a sigh
Echo
In the hollow caves of your heart
A flock of Birds flew from your hair
Circled thrice before landing back.
From your Breasts hung two chrysalis
Waiting for the warmth of spring
To release their beauty onto the world
Your Closed eyes, held breath, blissfully
Peeling back their silken case
Unfurling their wings, they flew
Into the light one a bright red admiral
The other a peacocks colour swallow-tail
Your navel was an oasis across a dessert
Of White parched longing I flapped my wings
Dipping my Humming bird tongue
To drink from it’s cool refreshing waters
Your orchid jewel sparkled lit by a slanting sun
Its Amber glow wet with morning dew
Arms embraced lips touched lips
And I became one with you.
