I never thought of myself as an artist because I considered “art” was limited to paintings or photography, but I have actually been an artist for 34 years since that is how many years I have been writing. Even though I have published 11 short stories, I don’t believe these are where my talents lie. I really believe I have a best selling novel either already written and waiting for the right editor/agent or it is still inside me. I’ll get there eventually but those rejection letters get harder and harder to read. My great passion is reading and I hope it is yours also because one of these days you will be reading my novel and praising or criticing my work.
I original thought on art is also a passion. I love to look at paintings/photography/scuptures. My idea of what is good and pleasing to the eye may not what main stream America believes to be art but having an opinion is free.
