it’s like I have an ear problem
And a little old woman is holding a cone
of newspaper to my head
and she’s lighting the candle
and I feel better
as it drip
drip drips
down
through to my brain
giving me joy
happiness
love
And I can’t imagine anything better,
ever knowing any more,
ever seeing any clearer,
And being aware at the same time,
but not caring that
everyone
else
thinks I’m crazy.
