Surfboard Shield
A retro-inspired classic surfboard logo from the sixties. As a background, I’ve used the colour and texture from my own McTavish Egg surfboard, and then added the vector hand-adapted lettering.

Thanks Duncan. I’m hoping that the bubble-jet printer can pick up all the water-drop detail in the red background. It should be OK I think.

I love the font.
Perhaps the outmost (red white red) outline could be a little closer to the inner outline? If you get what I mean. I find that the 2 outlines together draw my eye away from the text too much. Otherwise its great.

Thanks Rupert, and I think I agree with you. I’ve de-tuned the colour and weight of the strokes a bit, too. I’ll upload the revised version of it some time later tonight.
