5th Position

5th Position

Our gorgeous simaese, Tolly, again. Along with his kidney problems he has quite bad arthritis which you can see here in his poor, little bent ankle.

The way he positions his feet when standing remined me very much of a ballet dancer in 5th position.

How utterly gorgeous from such a simple little thing. Our Molly has big furry womble paws, I may have to experiment if I can get her to sit still for 5 seconds.

I liked your title, but sorry to hear about Tolly. How old is he?

  • Tiffany Dryburgh replied

Sadly, Tolly is no longer with us. He died a few months ago at the age of 16 of renal failure. I miss him more than I can say.
    Thanks for the comment though!

I’m sorry to hear of his health problems. However, I do agree with you…his paws look like he is a ballet dancer. It’s cute.

This really is adorable in spite of his pain. I’m so sorry for your loss! At least he’s not suffering any more. As long as you keep him in your thoughts he’ll never really be gone.

poor baby, I hope he feels ok? I have Dexter my Dog who is a very bad Diabetic so I know how you feel.

  • Tiffany Dryburgh replied

Thanks Susanne, but Tolly died almost a year ago now. This is the same fella as in “My Blue Eyed Boy”. I still miss him terribly!
Hope Dexter (cute name!) is doing ok, though! Do you have to inject him? I had to learn how to do that to babysit a friend’s dog. Poor baby, he used to look so dejected when I called him onto his special chair for the jab. He was a lovely doggy.

oh, sorry but I just read the above comments, All I have to do is give Dexter a snack an quickly put the suringe into his neck, at first it was terribble but now he knows when snack time is and don’t mind at all!
