Our border collie mix dog, Dottie, loves the snow. I snapped this picture of her looking out at the snow, hoping that we would let her out to play (we did). We’ve gotten 8 inches of snow today here in Brevard, North Carolina!
We rescued Dottie nine years ago when we found her abandoned and starving by a river down in South Carolina. What a gift she is to us!

I had a dog named Robbie when I was a child, It’s just struck me that he loved to watch the snow from the back porch, just like Dottie ;))) Congrats again dear friend!
Thank you so much, dear friend!! I bet Robbie really enjoyed growing up with you!! I don’t know what we do without our dog-family!!

There is something extra magical about rescued animals – they love far deeper and with greater intent than others – all my babies have been rescues and they have repaid me so much more love in their little lives – I am eternally grateful for being chosen by them:) You have a fab weekend too – and enjoy the xmas season with your gorgeous Dottie:) xoxox
Oh, you are so right about the rescued babies!! They seem to appreciate each and every day as the blessing it is and have so much to give us and teach us. Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. It’s so nice to meet you!
