ABOUT ME
Hello. I’m Jessica Shipard, a young artist and aspiring product designer. I’m currently studying Design at the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University, and call Brisbane home. My works include paintings, mixed-media textile artworks, collages, portrait drawings, soft toys & jewellery, lomography photos for kicks and commercial based creative design.
ACHIEVEMENTS
- Artwork displayed at Kickarts Contemporary Gallery in the Annual Insider Exhibition 2009 and sold
- Artwork displayed at the Cairns Art Society Annual Exhibition at the Cairns Regional Gallery, Highly Commended 2008, and sold
- Winner of the Australian Young Artist of the Year Awards in the painting category 2007
- Collage Published in Frankie Magazine, 2007
- Winner of Noise/Frankie Collage Competition, 2007
- Designed Cover of College Yearbook, 2006
- Poster Design for Mount Saint Bernard College Play, 2006
- Winner of Catholic Diocese of Cairns Christmas Card Competition, 2006
