In 1986, the celebrations of South Australia’s Jubilee were in full swing and Threadneedle was kept busy designing and making costumes for the many balls and events featuring fashions of 1836. This award winning gown was created for Diana so she could dance at the Governor’s Ball with her husband Rob .
Threadneedle is only showing the gowns, not the people who were wearing them.
This gown won Best Period Ball Gown at the SA Governor’s 1986 Jubilee Ball.
