A pen and ink piece.

Western “batard” stylised calligraphy. Also, the influences of Marc Drogin with the extreme decoration of the ascenders. The capitals are copperplate to match the batard miniscules.

The verse is by Lewis Carroll and is in Through the Looking Glass and the poem is titled “The Walrus and the Carpenter”

The original is A3 (420*298) on 210gsm hot press with Brause nibs and india ink.
