Digitized Information streams into the modern mind in all we do.
Binary ones and zeros are controlling gadgets for me and you.
In our homes and in our cars, in our work and in our heads.
Sometimes it seems as though we’re not human, but really ‘Borgs’ instead.
(Interlude, Part 1)
If life seems hurried, and you can’t understand all the electronic instruction.
I say welcome to the newest new thing brought into our lives by the ‘Digital Induction’.
The present moves into the future and will not wait for you.
Electronic digits are controlling everything you used to do.
In your home and in your car, in your work and in your head.
Sometimes I look at you and do not see a human, but really just a Borg instead.
(Interlude, Part 2)
Please don’t misunderstand and think that I think this sort of thing is all together bad.
It’s only when you get lost in the forest of silcon that it turns out to be so very sad.
The distant future is foreboding if this is how it will turn out to be.
Electronic digits in your veins monitoring what you feel and see.
In your heart and in your arms, in your lungs and in your head.
Now it’s verified you are not a human, but really are a Borg instead.
(Postlude)
If life seems hurried, and you can’t understand all the electronic instruction.
I say welcome to the newest new thing brought into our lives by the ‘Digital Induction’.
Please don’t misunderstand and think that I think this sort of thing is all together bad.
It’s only when you get lost in the forest of silcon that it turns out to be so very sad.
So now, here’s the solution I suggest that might just work out well for you and I.
Use technology and not vice versa, always remember that outside there is a bluer sky.

Wow! that is really techno music…reminds me of a band from back in the ‘80 called ‘The Tubes’ who were before their time. Great stuff…very Borgy :)
