These 3 Sandhill Cranes Got up and flying first out of a large flock headed south for the winter. My guess is that it is the parents with their young of the year chick, called a colt, in this image. I love Sandhill Cranes and love to photograph and just watch them. They say they were here when the dinosaurs were wandering the planet! Wow! These were photographed by Zittau, Wisconsin.

I don’t even know where to begin as what i do today goes back to my observations of my youth. I have always spent most of my free time in the outdoors, always in awe of nature and her mysteries. It is so exciting for me to be able to capture some of those exciting moments and share them with the rest of the world.I am always striving to be better at what i do and consider myself a student of the outdoors.
