I took this photo using a Canon 7D using a Canon 100-400 mm. lens,
This was photographed near Waupaca, Wisconsin.
A beautiful insect with a contrast in color to the flower it is feeding on or gathering nectar from. I am not certain of the name of this insect as i thought it to be a type of wasp but am not certain.

I don’t even know where to begin as what i do today goes back to my observations of my youth. I have always spent most of my free time in the outdoors, always in awe of nature and her mysteries. It is so exciting for me to be able to capture some of those exciting moments and share them with the rest of the world.I am always striving to be better at what i do and consider myself a student of the outdoors.
