This is found art. It was part of three dining room table slats that were laid on the curb. I reclaimed them and from two of them I made a table that fits over my sisters dog cage. This one had some of the laminate peeled off. Two of the layers were partially peeled off and the design is what it is. I believe the hardwood is maple. It looks like a dark Superhero City to me, hence the title. A good piece of “found art” is hard to find :)
I have a passion for capturing images of Wisconsin’s natural beauty and a commitment to not let that beauty fade from existence. I enjoy creating all types of art. My original degree was in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, but I have since gone on to pursue creative interests. I am also an avid writer.
