Note: Back is about 0.5" longer than the Front
This is an image of a Snapping Turtle
It is the start of Autumn and many equate that with Halloween. I find this image to have a Gothic/Karlof “humor” to it. To me it is the gestalt of someone walking through the abyss, in a state of fugue, looking for their lost lover. But there are other ways I see it to. As in those claws aren’t meant for touching nice. And that neck has tough spurs on it. And the back is a hard shell impervious or rather protective of its inner self and hiding its emotions? It can’t wait to hug you?
To listen to this turtle close its mouth is like listening to a hydraulic vise tightening.
