Lovely image – agree about the old school look though. And I’m from Edinburgh but last 2 visits (from Oz) have been to Glasgow for work. My mum is 76 and left E 56 years ago – hasn’t been back – she is sooo worried when i visit Glasgow .. keeps telling me how unsafe it is ;-0 and seems to think it will hvae been like it was 50 odd years ago.
I dont think anywhere is 100% safe these days we all just gotta keep ourselves as safe as possible. I don’t let it put me off doing what i love because life is just too short to stay indoors. Just let your mum know that when you are here in Glasgow that you are as sensible as possible..not that it matters..they still worry…mums !!!!! ;-]
Thank you very much. Been here a few times and this was the first time i had actually contemplated a pic from this location..the light does make it so different each time.
Davey..i love it too…so much to see in the one area..fantastic city.I filled two memory cards although half of the second one was video of Elliot Minor performing in HMV….DON’T ASK!!The things we do for our kids!

At the risk of being ex-communicated as a Glaswegian: nice shot!
:-)
Linda Morrison replied
I’m a Glaswegian also but i love Edinburgh very much. Everything is in one place..the city centre…in Glasgow one needs a tardus to visit attractions!!
Alf Caruana
Excellent perspective, tones and really like the use of light to draw the eye to the middle. Nice work as always Linda
Linda Morrison replied
Thanks Alf. As always i value your comments. ;-]

Tardus. Is that the proper Latin name? Heehee!
Nah, I love Eh too!
Keep never getting to see the sealed up plague street up on the hill… whatever they call that cobbled street up to Castle again…
:-)
