Deanna Roberts is a speaker with a difference who once lived on Nauru island, attending school and exploring the island’s phosphate pinnacles (an adventure playground in itself). Deanna encountered various cultures and travelled on phosphate cargo ships, meeting a variety of characters and personalities. Deanna also recognised the island’s natural beauty, its inhabitants, its colours warmed and highlighted by nature at its best in the tropical sun.
Deanna has a degree in education and training, a diploma of fine arts and studied performing arts for many years. Her monthly newsletters ‘Think in Pictures’ encourage you to stretch your imagination and visualise situations that can change your approach to work and play. Many of her photographic images are captured in these monthly newsletters and on this site, you can take it one step further and discover the beauty behind the full size images and Deanna’s creativity and discoveries.
