Who's on Spoonflower?
Hi Kids,
It’s time to get serious, as Spoonflower has taken the steps so you can sell your fabric designs to the people of the big wide world of the intraweb!
Highly recommend if you are into fabric designs to get on board, and let me know you are there – i know some of you are already!
I’m eagerly awaiting some samples to arrive, so I can complete the process of making my designs available.
Here’s one I prepared earlier:

Much Love!

Thanks for the nugde Jen. I signed up with a load of projects in mind but they all slipped down the ‘to do’ list. Will have to head back over there for some inspiration!

Awesome. I remember about a year ago they said they were shooting for this Xmas for this to happen, looks like they actually did it. Thanks!

Oh Wow! I never knew such a thing exist! Thanks for sharing!

Looking at your page there, i clicked on your images, but didn’t see any way to purchase. And when i clicked on the color swatches above the images, it took me to similarly colored swatches out of your gallery. Is it just setting up a gallery there now, and pruchase ability later? I couldn’t even find any infor on there on how to set up a gallery, in the blog or anywhere.

So that you can purchase, I have to buy samples of my work, to approve the designs as they appear on the fabric – I am expecting these to arrive this week :) Here’s where you can get started

Thanks much for the info! Nice they’re putting emphasis on quality control and approvals. And nice that they have new fabrics too, like organics and bamboo.

And i’m also wondering if it’s going to be possible to put them on Etsy, and link directly to the site, but probably not.

I am not sure, you can always ask, they are very nice people… i don’t see why not?? I guess that would be an Etsy thing though :)

Well, supposedly you can sell things on there that aren’t handmade if they’re supplies, which this would definitely fall under. The issue would be if we could do it so they can order direct, so we don’t have to be the middleman and take all the orders. I’m pretty excited about the new eco fabrics that Spoonflower has, and that could go under the Etsy Green site too.

I just joined up Jen. Totally stoked you led me there. Can’t wait!
