Please sign my Petition - we need your help
Hi Kids,
I have seen, not so recently, that the lovely Light Blue AA Tee, has now disappeared from our array of coloured tees here at The Bub.
As soon as we got the rainbow of colours, on the 13th April, the awesome and my fav Royal Blue disappeared from our hangers.
I know that American Apparel discontinue lines, but why not replace them with similar colours?
Lets look at Royal Blue…... 
The area up the top is the fabric swatch is from AA, and then the left is the PMS colour and the right is CMYK
These are the details which can be found on the colour chart at AA here i think there is something strange going on with the Regatta colour details, YET, that aside…... can we please have some sort of replacement for the Royal Blue?
Other alternatives for Light Blue at that link too…......
So PLEASE show your support for perhaps bringing in the Ocean Blue…... or the colours you’d like to see or maybe some colours you’d rather not.

Woah, look, hang on a second, before everybody goes mental and agrees with you, and they should, there are some technical reasons why we haven’t added anymore colours, and some design reasons. The whole tee overview page will be getting and overhaul, because it’s not best built for adding new colours and styles, and when this happens we’ll go crazy giving you more options than you can shake a large and unruly stick at. But you’ll have to be a little more patient.
But we know you’re good at that.

No please, by all means go mental, I wouldn’t want to stand in the way of such things. Just wanted to make sure you didn’t think we were stopping or anything, for either styles or colours, I can see no reason to not offer everything, we just have to have an interface that can handle such things, and equally be ready when AA go and discontinue a line. Until then we’re just bandaging wounds with work that will have to be reversed, but we’ll get there.

wow I love that orange but why do AA model boys get to wear pants but the AA model girls don’t get to wear pants? Is it because boy legs are so hilarious looking? Also – I’ve discovered the AA jersey dress with the polo shirt collar. I think RB should start offering these purely because I’ve wanted one for ages (since the 70s at least) and can’t find one anywhere! That’s a good reason right?

i want bright oj and a pretty soft yellow
and you know what i’d love…...washed out/preworn ones with stitched and torn look…i’ve seen something like it at zazzle….just a bit grungy…..and i truly love singlets….you can wear them over long sleeved tees or long sleeves shirts as vests in summer or winter…singlets are best!! What else do i want/like….ummmmmmmm dreaming of eggplant…..and a light dirty brown…..that’d be groovy :D

For me it’s not only the colors but the style & the sizes of the t-shirts also! for example i use to wear my t-shirts fited & short, the small man size here is too long for me & a little bit larger. i would like to see more styles & more sizes, why not teenage sizes!!! I just bring an idea…

i want a dark or bright purple, a light purple or lilac type, and eggplant, olive, a sand type color, somewhere in between the creme and brown.

i love royal blue!! i think it’s kinda too limited, the amount of colors available.. though it seems like the total number of tee colors is a lot.. in the end, some tees don’t have some of the colors.. which is really sad.. =( where’s the petition?

I once had a green marble pair of glasses just like those. A long time ago!!!!
I like the Regatta blue best… although the cmyk is the same as Ocean, it appears like it’s got more gumption!
As for other colours…. proper red (scarlet or cmyk of 20,100,100,0), orange (both dark and bright), purple (both lite and diox), red ochre, and a really good green (pms 370 or 350).
Mind you, these are just the ones I would wear!!!
ps… what about, just for a laugh, hyper shirts!!!!!

He he it is so much fun to watch how engaged and involved people get in this place get….I love it.
And yea I am all for colors, but so are obviously RB too so all we needed was some patience…hmmm they must be mind readers, but that I have suspected for a looong time. How els could they know how to make such a great place as the bub… :-)
