Hi Kids,
Last night I came across this “little idea” with a big goal.
Saturday the 7th June 2008 is Drawing Day!! wooooo!! PLUS, my birthday, fancy i know!
The goal is to get 1 million drawings in a day, for the sake of art, and good fun of course.
This is an international event, and the first one of its kind.
“One day a year, the world stops to remember that joy we had when we first picked up a pencil and created our first piece of art ~ that’s what Drawing Day is all about. The goal for Drawing Day is simple ~ to create enough drawings to make some noise worldwide for the sake of art.” (Drawing Day)

I think a good way we could all get together is to tag our drawings DD08 that day…. I’ll host a group for it….... (gets emailing)

@ TBO …. as long as the drawings don’t have to be all that good – I’m in. I haven’t progressed much further since the first day I picked up a pencil …. so it’s not that hard to remember!! LOL!!

ooooooh so many birthdays coming up!!! sooooo exciting :)
i’m gonna do some drawing on that day, have to think of a wedding drawing for the wedding group…..and i’m gonna think of you….maybe i’ll draw a TBO bride to be….ahhh, now that is a cool idea for your birfday! she will have long flowing black hair :) lol

Dunno where it is now. I coloured over dark bits with the light coloured markers so they went all funny, and the dark coloured ones dried up from use. And the crayons snapped.
