You should have a story. Think about the art the you are truly drawn to, you want to know more, it gives the work added depth.

It doesn’t really need explanation … does it? I think it’s a really powerful statement about cruelty and prejudice and I am drawn to its emotion – loneliness, isolation. She plays alone and she looks so sad. The octopus arm as a deformity works really well – it’s a ‘strangeness’ about the little girl which could just as easily not be strange – but kids can find weakness no matter how easy or hard it is to see. I agree with Jennifer – it’s very Alice-ish.

Sorry to rant, I just see so much here and I guess I relate a bit. Very nice work TBO.
