I love every month Simon…but if I ABSOLUTELY had to pick a favorite. It a tossup between June and October (with a little sprinkle of December thrown in as well). Even at its most surreal, these drawings are a testament to a mind that works in an extraordinary manner, to an artistic vision that is bold, detailed, complex and thought-provoking. Every time I see something new you’ve drawn, I always find my head shaking back-n-forth thinking how the frack does he do that?

When you drew the half protrait—december, did you have any references or just pure skill in drawing?

Thanks Rob. I just started with an eyebrow and no particular directon. I looked at some face pics online but not much else.
