Revelation

Or Fuckit, I’ll just scan it

Six weeks I was at this one in between being really busy or not in the humour to do it. Loads of mistakes are buried in there from times when I went at it but shouldn’t have. It got pretty mucky for a finish. There are heaps of symbols in it and its a continuation of one of my earlier works
I’m glad I finished (or near finished) it and I can finally move on to something else.
The name is but a ploy to appeal to arty farty types.
But it is really about a revelation, to be truthful.

I love the combination of shapes and colour in this! I’ve looked close and I can’t seem to see the mistakes you mentioned, it looks very precise and clean to me, but I understand the frustration of wanting to see something finished once working on it becomes a frustration! My recent paintings are riddled with mistakes, lol.

  • theyellowfury replied

Thakns Jennifer. The really big fuckups are blacked in and the other ones are just where its messy.

Thats Good what type of paper

  • theyellowfury

    theyellowfury

It is Double sided high white smooth cartdidge paper. And it says Lyndhurst on it too. 135 gsm, 14×10”
I was using detail paper before because its smooth and it takes the beating I give it. I got some grainy stuff before and I hacked it to bits with my 0.3mm pencil but this new stuff seems to be standing up well.

i’ve been staring at this piece for ages and have finally concluded that it kinda reminds me of alice in wonderland.
she wears yellow (her hair) just like you. hehe
the flower and the reeds are like the garden she travels in.
she also wears blue like the jigsaw here and is constantly trying to solve things.
i can so see the cards in there too.
there is so much in this yf.
    tis brilliant. ;-) xox

  • theyellowfury replied

    Awwwwww, thank you.
Here’s the other one, you should be able to read into it some with that mind of yours. I just love your perspective though. That’s really what I’m about too. Thanks.
