I have five beautiful children and haven’t lost one and I ask God every day to let me die first before seeing one of them go first. I had to come back and read this again. I read it a few days ago…and cried. It is beautifully written, and your depth of emotion and loss is well expressed. Then, last night, I learned that one of my best friends, who was due to give birth in just a few days, had found out that her unborn baby son had died… I sought out this poem agan to read it…and weep.
