Where’s the blue, indigo and violet peppers…?
Nice job, and it had me fooled for a minute. Re the seeds: yes, keep them all the natural colour, IMHO.
TheWalkerTouch replied
Hi Duncan. I was afraid someone was going to say that. So much more work….lol
Thank you for your honest input. I will have a go when I get enough time.
Duncan Waldron
Say what: natural seeds, or the other 3 peppers? ;-)
TheWalkerTouch replied
I think the other three colours will make it too long and skinny to be nice to look at, but I will have a go at putting the natural colour back in the seeds.
Thanks Duncan!
Duncan Waldron
S’all right, I’m pulling your leg :) These colours are credible; the other three would turn it into a spoof pic – which would be fine if you wanted that. Restoring the original seeds should just be a cut & paste job, fairly quick.
mikebov
great image & title
Is it me or are these peppers singing?
TheWalkerTouch replied
Thank you Mike. Actually, I think it is you singing after spending all that time in the Lake District…..The hills are alive…..lol
mikebov
You wouldn’t want to hear me sing & I don’t look like Julie Andrews
TheWalkerTouch replied
Just to prove it Mike, don’t forget to get your mush onto your scanner when you get home for the first challenge in the Scantastic group. Closes in three days!
jwinman

TheWalkerTouch replied

jwinman
you used a scanner? how cool!
TheWalkerTouch replied
Most of my best stuff is done on a scanner. I only have a little pocket digital camera for the other stuff. Still saving up for a dSLR!

Absolutely sensational!
In my humble opinion, “citrus colors” are always compatible with each other: strawberries, oranges, lemons and limes… I might like the picture better if all of the seeds were the natural color as in the red pepper, and maybe all of the stems could be a little less perfectly symmetrical, and just maybe the yellow pepper could be more yellow…but God it is so beautiful the way it is!! This would be a fabulous print in almost anyone’s kitchen! Or a sign for a kitchen store. Just amazing and wonderful.
TheWalkerTouch replied
Gosh, thank you! I am pleased you like it!
AJM Photography
A wonderful concept – and the result is superb! But having followed the discussion about the colours, why not change the “recipe” a little and actually use red, orange, yellow and green peppers? (Perhaps I’m missing something here…)
TheWalkerTouch replied
Thank you John! I rather liked the uniformity and that could never be achieved however carefully you cut the peppers. It was a lucky first cut as it was the first time I had even bought a pepper as they don’t agree with me. I am pleased you like it though and thank you for your feedback.
AJM Photography
Yes of course – the uniformity is essential. I was missing something…
