I wasn’t sure about the colour to start with. I recoloured it for a challenge, but it has grown on me and I am beginning to think I prefer it to the original now.

They make me think of peacock feathers… love the iridescence.

Thank you ys-eye. You might like the proper version as well then. The irridescence comes just as the tulips are about to fade and they take on those extra hues, as you say, like peacocks feathers. Compare it with the same tulip (the one on the left) straight from the supermarket.
