Thank you so much Rosanne but I can’t take any credit for it. The scanner light gives a fabulous softness of light yet captures every nuance of tone beautifully. I hardly ever need to change anything relating to the tone or colour; I just dabble round the edge with black and remove all the dust spots.

The nice thing about using a scanner is you can more or less leave it to make all the decisions. I can take hardly any of the credit apart from remembering to add garlic to my shopping list…lol

I was joking! but am amazed at the number of images you turned up and how unusual some of them were- I wouldn’t have time to co-host but it might be quite a fun thing.. I love painting garlic too its just such a wonderful range of colour and great form. You have some seriously lovely still life images on your site…
