I am The Slig, and The Slig, Well, that’s me!
I create and produce Art, quite Independently.
I draw and I write, Hey, Isn’t that great?
Moreover, have recently been learning to animate.
Computers are fun! And the web is just grand!
In spite of the things’ I don’t understand.
Which is quite a lot, I’m sorry to say,
But gets smaller and smaller with each passing day.
Soon, I’ll know it all!
Yes, this was foretold!
Then with my luck my head will likely explode.

I’ve been drawing, creating since I can remember, though I really got hooked around the age of twelve.
I’ve worked in various media, including glass wood and metal, all self-taut.
I’ve dabbled in electronics, and some programming, ‘basic, ‘c’ and trying to add Java, Javascript, and action script to my repartee. (Ain’t I just the most impressive little thingy?)

RPG, is another great love of mine. The ability to mold and participate in a separate reality? Incredible!
Most of the artwork that you see here is based on my, own fantasy universe, which I do make a point of visiting on a regular, sometimes-daily basis.
I’ve designed hundreds of tattoos, but don’t have one myself. (Never found one that suited?) Go, fig.
I’m currently an active contributor to ‘Star Wars’ the forgotten tales’
And a personal friend of Patrick Stuztman and Trampas “Kurrelgyrre” Whiteman, whom I’ve known for a number of years.

(I write under the name Dreaming bear, ‘I’m an American Indian’, No, really! That’s my, actual Indian name.)

I started in the realm of fan fiction and now am writing
in my own universe. (based on my R.PG)

While there are a lot of Artist who have inspired me, I’d say the two greatest influences on me would have to be John Byrne (Marvel comics) and H.R Giger. Yeah, one hell of a mix huh?
Byrne has a power of line and form, ‘that just screams off any page!
If you don’t know who Giger is…. Well, What hole have you been hiding in?
The master of Bio-mechanical imagery is amongst the most compelling and disturbing artist forces I have ever seen. Love or hate his work, it can’t be ignored.
Well, that’s’ about all I have to say at this point.
(Nobody else is gonna blow my horn right?)
