Heaven's Precious Iris

Remember when we used to hear their laughter?
The angels would descend in beauteous manner –
Right into the middle, to the center –
Peacefully, into the core of our heart,
The image sketching of the timeless ever after
In a soul’s fragile manor,
To rise you, with Heaven to impart…
And now that you’ve forgotten,
Before you fall into the foul bottom,
I’m here to read those lines from end to start…
You’re right, I cannot speak the angels’ language,
(Although, I think they speak the language of the heart),
But, sure, we’ve been through things much stranger…
Just don’t forget the sound of their laughter, promise?
Record the vision of the Heaven’s golden iris,
The one they planted in your inward heartfelt manger…
