The Olympic games were actually a tournament held every 4 years on Gallifrey, originally to pit the best of the Timelords against each other in a series of competitive events.
Due to fractures in space time, knowledge of these games was obtained by the ancient Greeks of Earth, who interpreted this information as instructions from the gods, and thus the Olympics as we now know them were born.
TheRandomFactor is a hideous sea creature that that has been known to devour the careless and stupid. It stands at 42 feet tall, and has 17 massively powerful tentacles, each measuring over 60 feet long. In 1986 it was responsible for starting a monster brawl after Mothra spilled its drink. This brawl severely injured Godzilla and ended in the death of aging super-primate King Kong. It dislikes the films of Paul W Anderson, and its favourite colour is red.
