Got the opportunity to do an illustration for a publication about summer fun. I believe this is the first time I tried to use acrylics on paper.

Beautiful…same for this one …submit it in traditional art, and all of the others I mentioned and there are about 10 more I could suggest…so get crackin, or I may have to take you out into the parking lot and break some kneecaps!!! LOL

This painting was an insane one to do because of the tight deadline. I had four days to pull it together. I barely made it. As I mentioned, it’s on illustration board, so you can get a smooth finish with a paper-based surface, just trickier. : >)

This is fabulous – just love the clouds – you say this was the first time you used acrylics on paper, but the description says acrylic on acid-free board. What paper do you use?

It was an acid-free cold-pressed illustration board which is basically like painting on a cold-pressed paper glued to a board.
